Booked it for 1 day and had a relaxing experience. The stuff was nice and welcoming and always greeted us. The location of this hotel right by the Belgian coast, fields and Brugge and Belgium was marvellous. It also was very close to the main road to the Eurotunnel.
Everything was fantastic.

Our breakfast was delicious with eggs from own hens. Remote location was a plus. Café Eat was 400 metres away from the place.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the evening we spent at the restaurant 'De Molenhoeve' in Gistel, where we enjoyed the "chef's choice menu". The flavors were absolutely exquisite, and each dish was like a work of art on our plates. We couldn't help but compare it to a culinary masterpiece fit for a royal feast.
Minor issue: Limited child-friendly breakfast options.

I felt like a historian exploring Koekelare and the World War I sites nearby. The breakfast was a delightful feast with fresh local ingredients. B&B Nieuwhof was more than just a place to unwind, it was an adventure!
Too bad I couldn't stay longer and indulge in all the historical wonders and scrumptious breakfast delights.

The rooms at Nieuwhof are incredibly spacious and cozy, with a comfy seating area and a flat-screen TV. It feels like a home away from home, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Gistel. The open kitchen is a great addition, equipped with everything you need to whip up a quick meal or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The modern private bathroom is a treat, complete with free toiletries and a hairdryer. And let's not forget the separate bath and shower, offering the best of both worlds for a relaxing bath or a quick refreshing shower.
One thing I personally didn't enjoy at Nieuwhof was the bathroom with the separate bath and shower. It's just a matter of preference though, as some may find it luxurious and convenient.

We had a fantastic stopover at this B&B on our way to the tunnel. The rooms were superb, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The shower was great and the location was quiet yet conveniently close to the main road. It only took us 35 minutes to reach the Eurotunnel terminal. We also enjoyed walking our dog in the quiet lanes nearby. The owner was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely better than any 5-star hotel!

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle, yet still very well connected to all the main tourist spots. The rooms were modern, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing the utmost comfort. The bathrooms were equipped with high-quality amenities and had a great shower. The owners were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast spread was generous with plenty of local ingredients, and we especially appreciated the children's cutlery. Additionally, the honesty bar was a great bonus, especially as it was a bank holiday and no shops were open. We would definitely go back to this hotel again without hesitation.
Highly recommend this hotel to families.

This B&B is a perfect getaway located in a serene countryside with cows grazing for miles. Its strategic location close to the highway makes it convenient for both short stayovers and longer holidays. the modernly furnished room and bathroom are impeccably clean. the friendly staff exude a warm family atmosphere and are very accommodating to your needs. the breakfast spread is exceptional with the use of fresh local products. Plus, you have access to a fully equipped communal kitchen and an honesty bar for drinks.
While there was a small fee charged for a dog, the lack of extra provisions provided for the furry friend may be a downside for some guests.
